mBlogger will be distributed in both .zip (ZIP) and .tar.gz (gunzip) formats, to ease usage on all three major platforms (Windows, Linux and Mac OS X). You will need a utility on Windows to extract the ZIP file containing mBlogger - I recommend the free and open-source 7-zip from http://www.7-zip.org which is also a SourceForge.net hosted project.
A beta release of mBlogger is currently available to download and use. Keep in mind that this is not a complete release, and there may be bugs that may occur or features that are missing. Don't let this scare you though, this build has been throughly tested for stability and usability.
This project has a Subversion repository which I will use to track changes and provide nightly releases of mBlogger. You will require a Subversion client (I recommend the excellent, open-source TortoiseSVN. Complete instructions for accessing Subversion repositories can be found in the TortoiseSVN user's guide, specifically "Checking Out a Working Copy" located on this page.
Our Subversion Trunk is located at: https://mblogger.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mblogger.
Please keep in mind that these releases may not function properly or they may not function at all. You should not use nightly releases unless you are absolutely sure that you know what you are doing and you are willing to modify the source code in certain instances to make the engine work on your server.
